Bloomin Buds

TPE’s Core Ensemble bring a high-energy, heart-warming piece of theatre to the gardens of older people from BD10 who may find it more difficult to engage with the wider UK City of Culture festival in Bradford, this August. Commissioned as one of Bradford 2025’s City of Culture large-scale social prescribing bids, in collaboration with Bloomin Buds Theatre Company.

Following the work done by the Bloomin Buds team, who have been working with groups in BD10 on creative activities, the performances were a beautiful chance to celebrate the creative work of the older people involved.

Performances took place from the 18th to the 28th of August, with public performances at the Eccleshill Mechanics Institute and Bradford Industrial Museum.
