Arts, Ageing and Staying Well in Leeds

You are warmly invited to a programme of sessions led by Leeds Public Health, The Performance Ensemble with support from Leeds Older Peoples Forum as we bring together people aged 50 and over in Leeds with the groups and organisations that contribute to Leeds’ ambition to be the best city to grow old in.

The sessions are ideal for people interested in ageing and staying well in Leeds and take place on Wednesdays in 2024:

On 6th February we are running an 1 hour online session on Zoom from 1.00-2.00PM TBC.

The session will focus on learning about ageing well and healthy living, facilitated with Natalie Tharraleos.

Future sessions include:

Physical activity – 21st February lunch with refreshments at Archive, 94 Kirkstall Road, Leeds, LS3 1HD 1.00PM -2.30PM,

Wellbeing and mental health – 6th March lunch with refreshments at CATCH 1.00PM -2.30PM.

Each session will share an update on our current knowledge, creative responses to these issues in Leeds and beyond and invite attendees to share their perspectives.

Following the events we will be launching a grants programme in Leeds to support our response to the challenges identified in our series of events.
